The beautiful Handlogden’s came in to get an outdoor family portrait done. We did both inside and outside and got a lot of great shots! I can’t wait until the preview, they should have a lot of fun choosing! Here are a couple of my favorites from our day.
Images by Faith is raising funds for a charity near and dear to my heart. “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep” is a non-profit organization that assists families suffering an early infant loss with the gift of free portraiture. I am the area coordinator for this organization here in Charlotte and the Lake Norman area. We serve 8 area hospitals and have 15 volunteer photographers here in our area. This is a relatively new organization (about 3 years old), but is growing leaps and bounds every day. The organization has amazing volunteers, but like any organization it needs funds to be a successful one. NILMDTS has to train people to go out and train others, design marketing pieces to raise awareness in the hospitals, and so many administration costs!
Images by Faith will be holding “Mini” Sessions November 8th & 9th for a $25 session fee regardless of the number of people being photographed. We will be donating $25 from each session to help NILMDTS. This is an organization that I have worked closely with and seen immense good come from it! I don’t think we realize how incredibly blessed we really are until we see such suffering. I see it all too often, but when no words can help to heal a person’s soul, I believe God gave me a gift to use for His greater good, and this is a way to give a mother/family something to hold onto forever to remember their sweet child. If you have any questions about the organization visit there website at www.NowILayMeDowntoSleep.org If you’d like to schedule an appointment during this weekend event call the studio at (704) 766-0661
Alexandria came into the studio to do her 2 year pictures. She is growing up so fast. Only 2 days younger than my sweet Savannah, I know they will be great friends. (We attend the same church and her mommy is a great friend of mine!) She was such a joy and so photogenic! I can’t wait for mommy to see all the pictures
Sweet little Alexis has finally arrived. She is so sweet and tiny! She was not too happy about us taking her clothes off and flashing lights in her eyes, but we still managed to get a bunch of great pics of her and her mommy and daddy! Congrats to the new proud parents!
9 months old already! Abby came in this week and she is getting so big. She is already standing while holding furniture which made it easier to get a portrait with her beautiful new dress I can’t believe she is almost one already! It goes by so fast.
Hampton brought his little brother Graham in to see if we couldn’t get some great pictures for mom to make Christmas cards out of. I think we should have more than enough to choose from. Sorry Hillary Sometimes having too many good pictures makes it harder! Hampton was a hug e help, and so photogenic. He was always waiting, smiling, so when Graham was ready so was he! We had a good time, especially in the fuzzy jammies when it was 80 degrees outside. Oh well, it will be cold when everyone gets their Christmas cards so I guess it won’t be as funny then;) Enjoy!!!
