Say hello to the Gav’s

Mac

I have been photographing Jake & Mackenzie for over 3 years now, but I have to say I believe we had our best session yet! We did a little studio, and some outside. Mackenzie decided their were too many bugs outside so we focused on Jake. Dad wants to give mom a nice bday gift so he is going to surprise her with something I am creating for her. Hope she likes it! Here are a couple sneak peeks at the cuties.

Can you say magazine cover?

I know Im biased, but is she not gorgeous? My Ashley is growing up so fast. I can’t believe she is going into high school. She got her braces off, hair highlighted (again) and she’s looking good! She always does. She made the highschool varsity cheerleading team. I couldn’t be happier for her. Especially since she is going to a new school, it has given her an opportunity to make some friends before she even starts school. She has been traveling all summer, 2 weeks in California with my family, 1 week in the NC mountains for Centrifuge Camp (a Christian youth camp), she landed in Hawaii this a.m. for a week long c=vacation, and she goes back to Virginia with her dad after that. Before she starts school we are all going to New Smyrna Beach in Florida for a week as well. She is quite the world traveler.

Wow I’m behind!

I can’t believe so much time has gone by since my last post. I guess the 6 kids, 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a foster kitten, has kept me busy. Not to mention we are definately hitting busy season. My 13 year old, Ashley has been on vacation for most of this summer. She is also my primary babysitter. This makes for lots of weekend shoots. Well who have we hung out with this past week or so?? Well Carter turned 1, and came and played outside with me. I also met another baby Jack! He is much smaller than my Jack, and ooooh so cute! Collin brought his baby sister, Cara, in to meet me. What a sweet little thing. Less than 2 weeks old, and just so sweet and tender. It goes by so fast. Ezekiel turned one last month as well. I got to see how big Brindley is getting as she turned 6 months. Alixandrea came in to play, and she was so full of smiles. Abigail is 6 months now too, and came in with her grandma, and great grandma for a 4 generation portrait. I met sweet baby Charlotte and can’t wait to show her mom how beautiful her portraits came out. Last, but certainly not least, this weekend Amelia came all the way from Raleigh to do some portraits and we had a blast. Talk about a smily baby, she laughed and smiled the whole time! We even got her in a tutu and pearls, and boy did she love those pearls.

Hopefully I can keep this up better over the next few weeks. It just seems like there is always so much to do. Well in order mentioned, here are the sweeties I have worked with lately.
